NTU Institute for Catastrophe Risk Management & Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies Risk research collaboration
The Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School and ICRM at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore have created a partnership to explore the issues of understanding and modelling risks, within its mission for promoting societal and economic resilience.
This partnerships will further the research goals of each organisation through collaborative programmes striving to address the challenges within a global spectrum. Proposed research topics explore systemic risks around markets, energy investments, natural catastrophes, and supply chains.
Cambridge-Singapore Exchange Fellows Programme
The establishment of a joint fellow programme will allow research to be conducted in both geographical locations, providing a venue for gaining a global perspective during the research process.
International Risk Forum
The formulation and participation of a jointly branded international forum for risk research, bringing together global interest groups in collaborative research will be a goal for future efforts.
Collaborative risk research
The focus of this partnership will include synergistic research, while furthering the research efforts of each Centre. Joint risk research projects will be defined to fill an area of interest and need. The result of the research may include a range of dissemination options such as seminar presentations, joint publications, and meeting presentations.
