About the KRN project

The Cambridge-MIT Institute (CMI) has sponsored the development of 6 graduate courses delivered by staff of the University of Cambridge and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. These courses, and the learning objects from which they are constructed, are to be made available to other UK higher education institutions, and the Knowledge Resource Network is the system through which the material is to be published.
The design of KRN is influenced by that of MIT's Engineering Systems Learning Center, and it is implemented using the Open University's Knowledge Network.

The project is scheduled to complete in the Summer of 2006.
