Completing Your Application
Applications for entry in 2012 are now closed.
Although applications are open for the class starting in September 2013, they will not be read until after the first round deadline of 21 September 2012.
Applications are accepted through our online admissions system. An application fee of £125 will be charged and can be paid as part of your online submission.
Essay questions
The following are the main essay questions on the Cambridge MBA application:
- What did you learn from your most spectacular failure? (200 words)
- What are your short and long term career objectives? What skills/characteristics do you already have that will help you to achieve them? What do you hope to gain from the degree and how do you feel it will help you achieve the career objectives you have? (please do not exceed 500 words)
- What are the key issues facing organisations in your sector over the next three years? What course of action would you recommend to such organisations? (300 words) [n.b. a new essay question to replace this one will be published over the summer; we recommend you work on the other questions in the meantime]
Apply early
We advise the early submission of completed applications. This is particularly important if you are going to be reliant on scholarships for funding, as many of these have early deadlines. An early application also gives greater flexibility on interview scheduling (although we do prefer you to attend interview in Cambridge on the dates detailed above) and assists with the college placement process and other enrolment administration.
