Completing Your Application
Applications for entry in 2013
Applications are welcome after the final deadline on a rolling basis and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact the MBA Admissions Office to discuss this option and to ensure that you would be able to meet our enrolment requirements within a shorter than usual timeframe. A final deadline of Monday 1 July will apply for the submission of all application documentation including GMAT/GRE scores, references and language proficiency results.
Applications are accepted through our online admissions system. An application fee of £125 will be charged and can be paid as part of your online submission.
Essay questions
The following are the main essay questions on the Cambridge MBA application:
- What did you learn from your most spectacular failure? (200 words)
- What are your short and long term career objectives? What skills/characteristics do you already have that will help you to achieve them? What do you hope to gain from the degree and how do you feel it will help you achieve the career objectives you have? (please do not exceed 500 words)
- If you could change one thing about your current organisation, what would you make different? How would you overcome obstacles to this change, and what impact would this change have in the short-term and long-term? (300 words)
Apply early
We advise the early submission of completed applications. This is particularly important if you are going to be reliant on scholarships for funding, as many of these have early deadlines. An early application also gives greater flexibility on interview scheduling (although we do prefer you to attend interview in Cambridge on the dates detailed above) and assists with the college placement process and other enrolment administration.
