University of Cambridge Scholarships

The University of Cambridge offers numerous scholarships each year.

Christ's College Whittaker MPhil Scholarships

Two Christ's College Whittaker MPhil Scholarships will be awarded annually to individuals exhibiting exceptional academic performance to date. Each award will be for £5,000 and the successful candidates will be granted full membership of Christ's College, which was founded in 1505 and is situated centrally in Cambridge near all the main facilities and just 10 minutes' walk from Cambridge Judge Business School. Clare Hall Lockheed Martin Complexity Studies Studentships

A fully funded MPhil studentship from Lockheed Martin UK is available for European and North American students who have been offered a place on the MPhil in Management Science & Operations or the MPhil in Innovation, Strategy & Organisation. This award allows for exploratory work relating to clinical health innovations and is offered by Lockheed Martin to Cambridge University as a direct result of the jointly established Cambridge Complex Systems (CCS) Consortium's activities.

The studentship covers both University fees and college tuition, and includes a maintenance award of £10,500 and membership of Clare Hall. Candidates for the MPhils listed above should indicate in their application that they wish to be considered for the studentship. Applicants must have a first class degree or equivalent (US GPA 3.8/4) and a demonstrable aptitude to carry out rigorous quantitative research.

Murray Edwards College BP Scholarships

Murray Edwards College (previously known as New Hall) has, thanks to the generosity of BP, a number of studentships and bursaries to support graduate education for overseas students, ranging from £2,000 to £8,000. Cambridge Judge Business School Bursaries

Bursaries for UK Students at Cambridge Judge Business School

Cambridge Judge Business School is pleased to announce a bursary scheme for UK students. A limited number of bursaries are available to eligible home (UK) students who have been offered a place on the MPhil in Management, the MPhil in Finance or the MPhil in Technology Policy. Applicants will automatically be considered for these bursaries upon application to the programme.

ESRC Funding

The MPhil in Finance, MPhil in Innovation, Strategy & Organisation and MPhil in Management Science & Operations are fully recognised by the ESRC as part of the business pathway cluster for the University of Cambridge Doctoral Training Centre.

UK/EU students who wish to be considered by the School for ESRC scholarship should submit the Graduate Student Application Form (GRADSAF form) to the Board of Graduate Studies as soon as possible, and by the end of January at the latest.

A number of organisations fund students to undertake MPhils and PhDs. Although we have listed some organisations here no list is ever exhaustive and we recommend that you research whether organisations in your country provide scholarships. British Marshall Scholarships Find out more »	US citizens who are graduates of US universities and graduated after April 2006.
Colfuturo Scholarship/Loan Find out more »	Colombian citizens over 25 years of age who must be bilingual and have at least one year of work experience. Candidates must return to Colombia within one year of finishing their programmes in order to qualify for a scholarship comprising a 50% waiver of the loan.
Japan-IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) Scholarship Find out more »	Citizens of the Japan-IDB's 26 borrowing member countries (in Latin America and the Caribbean) who have 2 years' work experience in a public agency or research/ teaching organisation and are under 40 years of age.
General Sir Monash Awards Find out more »	Australian citizens. Although awards are generally given for PhD degrees, in exceptional circumstances the Foundation would consider supporting an applicant in undertaking a Masters degree that extends their capability for a special purpose.
Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Fellowships Find out more »	Candidates from developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies. Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant:50% loan basis.
Karim Ride Said Foundation (KRSF) Find out more »	Candidates under 40 years of age, who must be Iraqi, Jordanian, Lebanese, Syrian or Palestinian, and have at least two years' work experience.
Jean Monet - Entente Cordiale Scholarships Find out more »	French nationals, or those who have completed their education in France, who are under 35 years of age.
O'Reilly Foundation Scholarships Find out more »	Residents of Ireland with a potential and desire to make a significant contribution to the future of Ireland.
Noon Educational Foundation Find out more »	Citizens of Pakistan who have not previously studied at a Western university, and who will return to Pakistan following their studies.
