Michael Freeman, PhD Candidate and ESRC Scholar, Cambridge Judge Business School
"The solid quantitative foundations that I developed in my first degree are an excellent preparation for an academic career in a business school. But doing research is very different from taking taught courses. You need to develop the right mindset and the right capacity and that is exactly what the MSO programme at Cambridge provides. For me, the stimulating and highly personalised learning experience of the MSO programme was an invaluable step in my transition on to a PhD here at Cambridge."
Dr Nicos Savva, Assistant Professor of Management Science & Operations, London Business School
"MPhil degrees at Cambridge Judge Business School provide the right balance between taught courses and research. The MPhil experience convinced me that I would thoroughly enjoy continuing on to a PhD and equipped me with the right tools to do well. Overall, it is the foundation upon which I am building my academic career."
