Biography

Namukale Chintu is a PhD candidate in International Business and Strategy at Cambridge Judge Business School. Her research focuses on the internationalisation strategies of firms in frontier markets. The empirical context of her work is on the performance of foreign firms in African markets. Prior to starting the PhD programme at Cambridge Judge Business School, Namukale worked in financial services with Lehman Brothers and Nomura International in Equity Structured Products. She also worked with Morgan Stanley Global Capital Markets and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in Corporate Banking. Namukale holds two MScs in Financial Economics and Management Research from the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. Prior to postgraduate study, she worked with the United Nations Development Programme in collaborative programming of UN agencies at the country level, within the global UN harmonisation and coordination agenda.
