Professional experience
Dr Tchilingirian has held leadership positions in private institutions in the United States and Great Britain. He has taught and consulted for numerous public sector and commercial organisations and has been involved in executive education at the School. He runs the Eurasia Business Executive and Leadership Programme, designed for young professionals from former Soviet countries. Since 2001, he has played an active role in enhancing the development of institutional partnerships in commerce, academia and civil society. His commentaries have featured in BBC World Service, Al Jazeera television, The Financial Times and OpenDemocracy. Dr Tchilingirian is a member of a number of professional and academic organisations, including the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), the International Sociological Association, and the Middle East Studies Association.
Research interests
Energy security in CIS and Europe; nuclear energy cycle and policy; political and inter-state conflicts in Eurasia and their impact on economic and geostrategic developments.
