About the Group

Members of the group regularly publish in leading management journals, and have written influential academic and more popular papers that have been subject of debates by policymakers and managers. They have advised various governments and multilateral agencies (including the World Bank, European Commission, Asian Development Bank, UNCTAD, governments of Greece, Pakistan, etc). The group boasts expertise on a wide variety of topics ranging from business strategy and organisation theory to regional clusters and national competitiveness. Members' work is cited frequently in the world's leading media outlets and they are asked to appear on prominent TV channels such as BBC and Bloomberg. The group also houses the Centre for International Business and Management (CIBAM), which serves as an umbrella for a wide variety of initiatives including high level symposia on issue of contemporary relevance to business.
