The Intranet

The new Intranet was launched in November 2011. Based on Microsoft SharePoint, the site is designed to be the hub of the School's internal information, resources, news and events. This new intranet, available to current members of the School only, contains the content of the old intranet and much more, including an improved staff directory, search functionality and unified events calendar. As a Microsoft product, it works best with the Internet Explorer browser.

Accessing the new Intranet

1. Visit www.intranet.jbs.cam.ac.uk »
2. Enter your network username preceded by 'ntdomain', e.g. ntdomain\yourusername
3. Enter your network password

(Your network username and password details are the same as those you use to login to your desktop PC, Computer Lab PC or School WiFi. If you are already logged into your PC/networked laptop then you won't be asked for your login details again; the system will recognise you and let you in.)
