Professional history
Prior to Carolyn’s current portfolio of directorships, her executive career (from 1986-2013) was with Tesco Stores, where her positions included Group Brand Director, UK Marketing Director, Commercial Director, and Chief Operating Officer Tesco.com. Amongst other projects she led the launch of the Tesco Clubcard, the Every Little Helps service campaign, and the development of the grocery home shopping business.
Society & charity work
Carolyn is Trustee and Deputy Chair of the Fundraising and Marketing Committee of Cancer Research UK, and Non-Executive Director of the Mentoring Foundation.
