Professional history

Gunnar is the Founder and Managing Director of CLIFI GmbH. CLIFI is a German climate finance advisory firm specialising in offshore wind energy. Previously Gunnar has been working for Germany’s largest electricity producer RWE. His work experience with RWE’s Offshore Wind Energy division has equipped him an in-depth understanding of the global offshore wind industry and the overall energy transition away from fossil fuels towards renewable energy generation. 

Prior to completing his MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, Gunnar received a Diplom (MA equivalent) in Finance and Accounting from the University of Tuebingen (Germany). As part of his studies Gunnar also attended the National University of Singapore and Harvard University.
