Professional history

Sarah is Head of Digital at Ada, the National College for Digital Skills. Originally from Singapore, she spent many years in the USA and has considered London home since 2012. She was a web developer for Harvard University and MIT and led the agency development team of Blue State Digital (a WPP company), where her client list included the YMCA, United Way, and Partners in Health. She has also worked in British and American political campaigns, building technology tools for national elections.

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from Bryn Mawr College, a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Oxford (St Hilda’s College) and a Master’s degree in Digital Media from Harvard University.

Society & charity work

Sarah has worked for cause- and mission-based organisations throughout her career and is particularly passionate about gender equality in education, technology, and leadership. She chose the Social Innovation concentration for her MBA.

Sarah joined the Alumni Advisory Council in 2017 and leads the Cambidge Judge Tech Alumni special interest group.
