Professional history

Barbara has been working in digital since 2000 in digital agencies belonging to WPP, Omnicom and Publicis Groups (AKQA, Tribal DDB, DigitasLBi and more recently Joule), developing digital products and innovation for global brands including Nike, Microsoft, Barclays, Gucci Group, Fiat, Honda, Ferrari, Unilever, Nintendo, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Etihad Airways. She also has start-up experience, having consulted for London-based Agility to launch Saiette (the first high performance, cleantech motorcycle).

Barbara holds an MSc in Economics with focus on Environmental Economics (University of Parma, Italy, 1999), an International Diploma Program in Marketing (2003), and a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley (2004).

Society & charity work

She completed her MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School in 2009 and since then has been actively involved in the alumni community. She was elected to the Alumni Advisory Council in 2010 and is currently co-leading the Marketing Alumni SIG.

Barbara ran the London Marathon in 2007 raising funds for Well Child; she provides digital marketing advice for Engineers Without Borders. Barbara is member of CUTEC and a University of California at Berkeley alumna.
