Professional history

Claire Neuman works at JP Morgan in New York and facilitates banking transformation and innovation for the bank. Previously, Claire was a fintech strategy consultant for tier-one global banks in London, advising on digital capabilities enhancements and fintech investments ranged $100-500 million.

Prior to consulting, Claire was an Associate Director at Standard Chartered Bank in New York, responsible for Wholesale Banking deal origination from a portfolio of over $1 billion; her key client relationships included Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary and Tiffany & Co. Claire spent seven years leading deal teams across the US, UK, China, India and Africa to facilitate global banking transactions. As a bilingual fluent in Mandarin and English, she also had exposure in private equity investments, in which she assisted institutional investors in New York and London to identify opportunities in China.

Claire received a BA from UCLA and an MA from Harvard University in digital design prior to completing her MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Since Claire joined the School’s Alumni Advisory Council in 2017, she has developed fintech initiatives and hosted fintech forums by engaging panel participations and sponsorships from JP Morgan, Barclays, Microsoft, HSBC, ING, venture capital firms and fintech start-ups.
