Professional history

Sarah works with purpose-driven organisations, using technology to carry out their mission more effectively and at scale. Currently she is Digital Product Lead at the London School of Economics, where she focuses on the digital student experience. She has significant experience working in higher education, from developing websites for Harvard University and MIT, to scaling digital operations at Ada, The National College for Digital Skills. She also led the development team at a WPP agency for a number of years, and worked on British and American political campaigns, building technology tools for national elections. Originally from Singapore, she has considered London home since 2012.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Bryn Mawr College, a master’s degree in linguistics from the University of Oxford (St Hilda’s College) and a master’s degree in digital media from Harvard University.

Society & charity work

Sarah has worked for cause- and mission-based organisations throughout her career and is particularly passionate about gender equality in education, technology, and leadership. She chose the Social Innovation concentration for her MBA.

Sarah joined the Alumni Advisory Council in 2017 and leads the Cambridge Judge Technology Alumni Special Interest Group.
