Dr Andreas Schreiner


Andreas is an Austrian citizen. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of Graz followed by a doctoral degree at the University of St Gallen incl. research stints at UCLA and Yale. 

In 2007, he started his professional career at McKinsey & Company where he worked in the Zurich and New York offices and served financial services clients on corporate finance, strategy and risk management topics, eventually as Engagement Manager. 

While at McKinsey, Andreas took an educational leave to read for the Cambridge MFin. His main objectives were to extend his knowledge of (global) finance, particularly areas outside the usual scope of management consulting projects, and to strengthen his methodological toolkit required for comprehensive financial analysis.  

In 2011, Andreas joined Deutsche Bank in its Group Strategy department in Frankfurt. As a Director, he led market & competitor analytics and supported the board on a broad variety of strategic projects incl. M&A topics. Today, Andreas is responsible for all aspects of planning & performance management for Deutsche Bank's Asset Management and Retail & Wealth Management divisions as a Managing Director.
