A career transition

"The MPhil in Technology Policy enabled me to apply the skills I had gained from my technical studies to the wider management arena and was fundamental for my career transition from a technical role into strategy consulting. For me, three things made this programme unique: first, the combination of technology, management and public policy with a lot of freedom in choosing electives that allowed me to tailor the programme to my career plans; second, the diversity of my classmates - not only geographically, but also in terms of age and work experience; third, the vibrant atmosphere of intellectual curiosity at Cambridge Judge Business School and the Cambridge colleges, that made me not even notice how hard I was studying. Although my class graduated in the middle of the financial crisis, all of my classmates have done very well - not surprising as they were some of the brightest people I have ever met."
