Social Streets

Social Streets graduated from Cambridge Social Ventures in January 2017.

Social Streets is a digital practice that uses digital content skills and digital training to help bring about positive social change.

Social Streets is a community interest company that specialises in the field of civic, community and regeneration. Clients and partners include high street managers, neighbourhood forums, place makers, local authorities and social enterprises. Social Streets works with clients and partners to find the best way to grow audiences around their social venture and to achieve social impact.

Digital content services include design and identity, web development, copywriting, optimisation, and social media management. Social Streets brings the excellence and quality of skills and methods normally used by international media brands to sell consumerist brands, and uses them to encourage participation in projects that benefit the community.

Social Streets also develops new ways to bring digital empowerment to a community. These include POW Digital Camp, a digital empowerment programme for high street businesses, and Collective Media Works, a community journalism programme for young people that promotes direct involvement and collective action in order to transform and re-appropriate local community life.

Social Streets works with partners in innovative ways to radically increase participation in social ventures and local communities.
