DNAdigest is a non-profit organisation run by a diverse community of individuals passionate about data sharing in genomic research the benefits it can give patients. Collaborations between researches has the potential to remove barriers in genomic research and DNAdigest actively promotes efficient and ethical data sharing throughout the research community. On the DNAdigest website you will find news and interviews with key academic and industry minds actively working in this topic, and at the DNAdigest events both researchers and the general public are welcome to discuss challenges and develop strategies for improving data sharing.
The key focus of DNAdigest is to help promote secure methods that enable easy and efficient access of genomic data. With genomic research set to produce as much data as Internet giants Twitter or YouTube by 2025, development of such platforms and methods will better help the development of future genomic diagnostics and precision medicine.
