Idea

Patchwork Hub is a disabled-led business and tech platform providing an accessible jobs board, bespoke recruitment services and award-winning training/consultancy services. They offer an end-to-end solution for companies to attract and retain top diverse talent from an overlooked hidden talent pool they may not otherwise reach. They support employer branding, connecting employers to skilled professionals, from disabled people through to carers and parents, who are seeking accessible employment. Alongside supporting their jobseekers to thrive in work, they provide training and consultancy services for employers who want to improve their accessibility practices and become Disability Confident, but don’t know how.

Impact

Patchwork Hub’s purpose is to lead a much-needed culture change in work, health, and accessibility with a primary mission to achieve ‘decent work for all’. With work practices still in flux following the pandemic, we’re faced with a huge opportunity to initiate change and create a more inclusive world of work. To achieve this, Patchwork Hub is building the leading platform for the hidden talent pool and showcasing that accessible working benefits everyone. They’re developing a mainstream, scalable disabled-led platform and training services that will move away from siloing disability and accessibility. Ultimately, Patchwork Hub aims to empower employers to remove barriers, implement best practice and build procedures to ensure that diverse talent is attracted and retained. By providing bespoke consultancy and support, they are helping employers to feel confident around disability and broader DEI conversations and, crucially, helping employees and job seekers to feel supported throughout the process.
