The Mail on Sunday: Job doors closed

Small firms are cutting back on jobs because they are too busy dealing with increasing employment legislation. Nearly one in four small and medium firms say legislation has become so onerous that at best it creates unnecessary bureaucracy and at worst it is a barrier to hiring. The findings come in a survey by the Centre for Business Research at Cambridge University.
