Dr David Reiner, Senior Lecturer in Technology Policy at Cambridge Judge Business School, says that countries other than Poland should be put under the spotlight for their record in driving forward carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology. Dr Reiner said: “The Polish effort on CCS always relied on significant EU rather than domestic support and so with the decline in possible EU support and recognition that some considerable national support would be needed, interest in the project faded.”
