Diligence and intelligence and qualifications – these factors should decide whether someone makes career in business. But the new research shows that the surname makes an impact too. Raphael Zilberzahn from Cambridge Judge Business School, reports that people with names such as King, Emperor or Prince are likely to make it into a senior position than people with regular surnames. The scientists evaluated the data of 222 924 members of the German Internet career network Xing.”
