Horizon Discovery and international partner LGC received a grant to develop cancer diagnostics. Horizon will receive more than half the funding. Darrin Disley, Entrepreneur in Residence at the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning and CEO at Horizon Discovery Group plc, said the money ‘will fund the research and development of a portfolio of novel reference standard materials to serve a high need area of clinical diagnostics.’
