Foreign Policy: U.S. and Chinese climate commitments will be difficult to fulfil

The deal between the US and China on greenhouse emissions is important step forward, but according to some climate change policy specialists the pledges ‘will be very difficult to meet.’ Dr Chris Hope, Reader in Policy Modelling at Cambridge Judge Business School, said ‘the effect on rising temperatures would be negligible.’
