Montec Systems Ltd, a start-up supported by Accelerate Cambridge, has introduced a new technology for structural engineers. The new system can detect cracks in brick and masonry structures, such as buildings, bridges and tunnels and transmit data via a single station to a centralised data server. Ben Harker, founder of the company, said:
Our ambition was to develop an accurate and reliable system that was easy to use and install, a system capable of becoming an industry standard.
