China and the US has signed a ‘historic agreement’ on greenhouse emissions this week. Both countries have pledged to reduce the greenhouse gases – US agreeing to cap emissions by 2025 and China by 2030. Dr Chris Hope, Reader in Policy Modelling at Cambridge Judge Business School, said ‘more needs to be done and China’s level of striving to reach peak pollution before 2030 will prove crucial.’
