The Danish business newspaper talks to Sucheta Nadkarni, Sinyi Professor of Chinese Management at Cambridge Judge Business School, about her latest research on womenomics. The research found that quotas are not the best way to get women on board. “The amount of time women hold a position on the board in large parts reflect the financial power of women – in general – in the society in company operates in. Meaning, the more highly educated and financially independent women a society has, the more incentives will exist to help attract women to position in the boardrooms”, Sucheta said.
