Business Because: Women in business school: Slow progress on closing gender wage gap

 

Progress on achieving pay parity has been slow, even at the MBA-level — contributing to the lack of female representation on company boards, writes Seb Murray in Business Because. Pay gap is one of the factors to the lack of female representation on boards, experts say. But having more women in business schools will help to place more women into senior management roles, according to the research led by Sucheta Nadkarni, Sinyi Professor of Chinese Management at Cambridge Judge Business School.
