Some people choose to study for an MBA in order to switch their career. For example almost 90 per cent of Cambridge MBA 2014 class switched either sector, function or region, and around 30 per cent switched all three. Karen Siegfried, executive director of the MBA programme at Cambridge Judge Business School, comments on motivations for pursuing the MBA.
