CNBC News: Productivity in the UK

Lord Karan Bilimoria of Chelsea, CBE, DL, a member of the Cambridge Judge Advisory Board, comments on productivity in the UK and says the government needs to invest more in higher education and R&D in order to improve productivity. “Our productivity needs to be better, we under-invest in higher education and in research, development and innovation when compared with USA or Europe.” Lord Bilimoria mentions Cambridge as a good example of productivity with more than 90 Nobel Prize laureates coming from the institution.
