“People think that if we try to work towards climate change, it will be harder for these countries to grow. But all the research shows that this isn’t true. In fact if you do the climate policies in the right way, typically by putting taxes on greenhouse gases and generating revenues, it then allows you to reduce other areas of the economy’s taxes,” said Chris Hope, Reader in Policy Modelling at Cambridge Judge.
