Computer Weekly: Sprint 15 confirms plans for government as platform

At Sprint 15, this year’s government digital overview, it was decided that a cross-government approach to providing public services is the best way to drive a platform-based government. Dr Mark Thompson, University Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at Cambridge Judge Business School, said: “A platform isn’t a piece of technology that we build at Government Digital Service, or anyone else in government has built, it’s a standard.”
