Eurasia Review: How is European gas race going?

European Union officials are looking how to solve the crisis in Ukraine and find a solution to Europe’s energy problem. EU wants to secure  more Caspian volumes against Russian gas leverage, writes Eurasia Review. Chi Kong Chyong, research associate at Energy Policy Research Group Research at Cambridge Judge Business School, said that “Europe, as a net importer of energy, should have a strong interest in having well-functioning internal market so that to minimize market power and distortions.”
