Financial News: A conduct case study: Barclays bankers go back to school

 

Cambridge Judge Business School and Barclays Bank have established the first executive education academy in excellence in compliance in July last year. More than 1,500 Barclays compliance staff have attended the Cambridge-Barclays Compliance Career Academy so far. The training focuses “on bringing about cultural change in the way the financial industry is run”. Richard Hill, Executive Director for the Centre for Compliance and Trust at Cambridge Judge, said:

Conduct, the way people think about things, the principles they use, the choices they make – it has become a much more fascinating place to be. You are now involved in the core discussions which drive the way the business operates.
