Financial Times: Charities that need people’s time benefit from moral exemplars

 

Charities “want your time” and not just money, says a new study co-authored by Eric Levy, University Lecturer in Marketing at Cambridge Judge Business School. People are more willing to donate their time or money if they receive the right cues. Eric said the findings “have significant implications for how charities and other good causes recruit volunteers for time-giving tasks.”
