Financial Times: Industrials: UK manufacturers turn to after-market services in hunt for value

British manufacturers are looking for new sources of revenue streams to help against downturns, writes Tanya Powley in the FT. Andy Neely, director at Cambridge Service Alliance (CSA) and fellow in Business Performance Measurement & Management at Cambridge Judge, said it is difficult for the manufacturing companies in UK to compete on the basis of cost, so they’re offering innovative solutions such as integrated service.
