A new research, lead by Sucheta Nadkarni, Sinyi Professor of Chinese Management at Cambridge Judge Business School measures ‘female economic power’ and is “the first to take a world view on the factors limiting and driving women’s rise to the top and longevity in boardrooms.” The study looked at 1002 companies from the Forbes Global 2000 list across 41 countries and 51 industries and found that empowering all women is key to sustained change in the boardroom.
