Scientific American: Should government nudge us to make good choices?

Jon Jachimowicz, MPhil Innovation, Strategy & Organisation 2013, co-authored an article about how government is influencing people’s decision by using behavioural science. “Instead of relying on ideologically driven laws, we need rigorous experiments to test how people choose in specific situations. Once we know what works and for whom, we should persuade government officials to implement the best interventions,” the article suggests.
