The Guardian: Greater economic and political power gives women more seats in boardroom

A new research found that powers outside the boardroom are more important for gender equality in business than quotas. The study, led by Professor Sucheta Nadkarni at Cambridge Judge Business School, looked at 1002 companies from the Forbes Global 2000 list across 41 countries and 51 industries.
