Business Insider: Australian economy loses $17b a year due to cyber attacks

 

The numbers and size of cyber security attacks are increasing and Australia is one of the world’s largest targets, writes Craig Horne. One of the reasons: business executives don’t have a knowledge and understanding of cyber security. According to a report co-authored at the Centre for Risk Studies, Cambridge Judge Business School, there are more and more companies in Australia purchasing cyber insurance.
