Cambridge-based firm Syngene has teamed up with Raspberry Pi and now is introducing the NuGenius computer that generates high quality images of DNA. The machine could be used by experienced scientists as well as students as it simple to use. “Our ethos is to make computing accessible and we are pleased to discover that Syngene has embraced this philosophy to design an accessible DNA imaging system to detect genetic diseases,” said Raspberry Pi CEO Eben Upton, who is a Cambridge Judge alumnus (Executive MBA 2009).
