Farming UK: Robotics and plant intelligence win at Agri-Tech East competition

Winners and finalists have been announced at GROW, the UK’s first national agri-tech business plan competition. SmartBell, a start-up supported by the Accelerate Cambridge programme at Cambridge Judge Business School, was among the finalists. The start-up uses advanced analytics on data gathered from cattle wearables, and information from individual farms is aggregated across regional farms to better understand land utilisation and promote proven efficiencies.
