FT Adviser: FCA to research crowdfunding with Cambridge academics

 

The UK financial regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority, has teamed up with academics from the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) at Cambridge Judge as it tries to untangle the so-called alternative finance sector. Robert Wardrop, executive director at CCAF, said: “We look forward to collaborating with the FCA very closely in the coming months to systematically collect market data, gather crowdfunding user feedback and undertake policy-related analysis.”
