Information Age: The six degrees of innovation

There are “Six Degrees of Innovation” – six matching patterns between technological change and market needs – that characterise successfully transformative business innovation, concludes a study at Cambridge Judge commissioned by AT&T. Stelios Kavadias, Margaret Thatcher Professor of Enterprise Studies in Innovation & Growth and Director of Research at Cambridge Judge, looked at innovations across “several industries and identified six business model traits that occur in successful companies that deliver innovation through the use of technology.“
