INTHEBLACK: Running accountant goes extra miles for Gold Coast Airport Marathon

Tony Mullen, COO at Events Management Queensland and Cambridge Executive MBA alumnus, has been featured in the July edition of In The Black magazine. His company manages large events such as the Gold Coast Airport marathon and the Pan Pacific Masters Games, and Tony used his own experience of running in the Tokyo Marathon, passion for knowing his customers and the Cambridge EMBA to improve the customer experience.

For 20 months, Tony had been flying from Queensland, Australia to Cambridge for 16 weekends and four week-long blocks to complete the Executive MBA degree. He now looks forward to using the knowledge, networking opportunities and soft skills that the programme has provided to continue to deliver great experiences to customers through Events Management Queensland.
