Malaysia is expected to resume negotiations on the free trade agreement (FTA) with the European Union (EU) soon with the hope of sealing a deal after five years of talks, writes Malaysian Digest. Michael Kitson, University Senior Lecturer in International Macroeconomics at Cambridge Judge, commented that if Britain “were to leave the EU, it would cause damage to the bloc and an even bigger damage to the United Kingdom economy in terms of trade and FTAs.”.
