The European Business Review: The fairness challenge of the Internet of Things

The Internet of Things will bring a lot of benefits to businesses and society, but collecting and storing data needs to be done ethically, says an article co-authored by David De Cremer, KPMG Professor of Management Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School. Fairness must be a commitment at the strategy level: “With fairness in place, new advancements in the IoT will not be seen as a threat, but rather as an opportunity to reveal more efficiency within the IoT relationship.”
