Felicity Bedford investigates what strategies supermarkets are using in order to predict what customers might buy. Dr Eric Levy, University Lecturer in Marketing at Cambridge Judge Business School, met with Felicity in one of Cambridge’s supermarkets to test consumers’ psychology. “Our behaviours in the supermarket have a big influence on our health, and there’s a lot of things going on in the supermarket that we don’t always realise but I’m sure we’ll encounter some of them with our shopping trip here,” Eric said.
