The News Tribune: Cyberattack an energy threat waiting to happen

In late December, part of Ukraine was plunged into darkness – a blackout that the Obama administration now says may have been the first one caused by a cyberattack. The effect of a major cyberattack would be devastating to the U.S. economy, according to a 2015 report by the University of Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies and Lloyd’s, the London-based insurer.
